Restricted Growth Association

Dawn Shaw is starting on Monday the 17th May as the RGA\'s new Association Manager.

Dawn has been a member of the RGA for many years as a Family Member. Her son has Achondroplasia. Initially Dawn will be dealing with sorting out the office and then when settled she will start to take phone calls. In the mean time Val will will continue to take calls and help deal with enquiries.

I\'m sure you\'ll join us in making Dawn feel welcome. It is great to have her on board. She has lots of experience of working for charities including The British Red Cross and Guiding Groups. Dawn\'s Previous employment was as a Paramedic for the West Midlands Ambulance service and this experience and knowledge should also help her to fulfill the role successfully.

Many members have already met Dawn at the Northampton Social and at the recent DAA games where she ran the RGA stall. Please do feel free to e-mail and introduce yourselves - the \'office@restrictedgrowth.co.uk\' e-mail address is now being picked up by Dawn. There will also be an announcement very soon of the new RGA PO Box address to send post to (due to go live on the 24th May 2010)!
