RGA Association Manager Vacancy
£22,000 to £24,000 Per Annum dependant on experience and qualifications
The Restricted Growth Association is a registered charity (No 261647) with a membership that comprises full members, their families and friends and other interested parties, mainly comprising of professionals with an interest in the RGA.
The position of Association Manager is being offered as a full time role to manage the business of the Restricted Growth Association by supporting the governing committee in all aspects of our work. In the first instance the position will be for a 12 month, fixed term contract with the possibility of extending this or making it permanent for the right candidate.
The successful applicant will have the experience, amongst others, of seeking and completing grant applications, managing and updating essential data and excellent ICT skills including an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. A large part of the role includes ’first contact’ with members and potential members who require and need an empathetic and informative ‘chat’. The successful applicant will have an excellent telephone manner and be able to cope well in often stressful situations.
An essential requirement for this role is that you can work from home and provide a suitable independent workspace to carry out the work required. There is occasional weekend working required and at least one evening a week is required (up to 9.00pm).
