Welcome to the RGA Young Person's site


This page is for anyone under 18 who has restricted growth, or has a brother, sister or friend with restricted growth.

 

Did you know you have a Committee Member - Miranda Button is the Children's Officer and represents YOU on the committee. If you have any ideas or suggestions on how the RGA can work better for you, please let her know. You can e-mail Miranda on childrensofficer@restrictedgrowth.co.uk.

Calling Young Journalists!

Have you got a good idea for a story? Do you want to see your name in print? We're always interested in any news items from you about what life is like with restricted growth. Maybe you've started a new school, learnt to swim or joined a club - if you have have overcome a challenge in life, let others know how you did it! Visit the Journalist's area for more information (shown as a link on the left).

 

Bookworms

We're often asked to recommend books about restricted growth for young people. Who better to recommend these books than you! So, we've set up an area where you can see what books are available and then we need you to give your honest opinion. See the Bookworms area for more details.

 

All reviews will be published in the Bookworms section of the website and & some of the best will be published in the RGA News.

 

Blog

Arabella, one of our young members, has a blog! Arabella has pseudoachondroplasia and has recently had leg surgery. Read about Arabella's adventures on our website. Just click the button on the left for Bella's Blog.

 

Activities

We have included a colouring activity for children under six years old. There is no closing date and all entries will be put onto the website as a 'winner'. Some of the best will be entered into the RGA News magazine.
